  • This Is One Of The World’s Prettiest McDonald’s Outlets, Located In Antigua Guatemala

Fast food chains are usually all about convenience, consistency and common features. Their focus is on delivering orders quickly rather than creating a beautiful ambience – and customers are aware of this and take advantage of the same. But there are some exceptions to this rule. Case in point: a McDonald’s outlet located in Antigua Guatemala, which is considered one of the prettiest in the world. A recent reel offering a mini virtual tour of the establishment has gone viral, sparking many conversations. It was posted by digital creators Jocelyn Quetzaly and Jacks (@jxcksss)The video begins by showing us the exterior of the restaurant, and it appears to be nothing special. However, as soon as the vloggers step inside, we realise that there is definitely something unique about this McDonald’s. It seems to be housed in a colonial-style building, and elements of this architectural style are seen reflected in the space. The lighting is cosy and aesthetic – a far cry from the harsh lighting usually found at fast food chains. The vloggers point out that the menu has local dishes and special offerings they have not seen at other McDonald’s outlets.

  • Brightest Explosion I’ve Ever Seen”: US Fighter Pilot On Iran Strike

A US Air Force pilot has described the detonation of a 14,000-kg bomb over Iran’s underground nuclear facility at Fordow as “the brightest explosion I’ve ever seen – it looked like daylight”. The pilot’s account offered a glimpse into the top-secret mission known as Operation Midnight Hammer.

The Pentagon released new information about the June 21 strike carried out by B-2 stealth bombers. The mission was shrouded in secrecy and backed by years of meticulous preparation, advanced weapon development and intelligence gathering.

According to General Dan Caine, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the elite aircrew launched from Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri not knowing whether they would return. Caine said, “A commander told me, ‘This is a moment in the lives of our families they will never forget.’” One crew member likened the experience to the Super Bowl.

The operation, launched under US President Donald Trump’s directive, targeted three nuclear facilities in Iran – Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. Of the three, Fordow was considered the most challenging, built deep within a mountain and fortified against nearly every conventional attack.

  • Vlogger Makes Grandma Try Matcha, Her Honest Reaction Wins Hearts

Matcha is clearly not everyone’s cup of tea! As is evident from a vlogger’s recent post on Instagram, where she made her grandmother taste the Japanese green tea. In the video, the elderly woman can be seen taking a sip from the matcha drink. A decision which she instantly regretted! The text over the reel reads, “Making my grandmom try MATCHA,” followed by “What did I just put in my mouth,” accompanied by the grandmom’s irate reaction. Soon, her grandma can be seen rushing to the kitchen to change her taste by munching on some masala chips. “Never trusting matcha girlies again,” the text over the reel reads.”The electricity didn’t come for two to three hours. The maintenance staff was not picking up our calls, so we went downstairs. When we went there, some other residents were already trying to get answers. As we were talking, some members of the maintenance staff began punching us. One man held my collar as other people hit me with sticks. I was also slapped…my entire body is swollen. My children were crying in the corner,” he said.

Officials said four people from the maintenance department have been arrested. They have been identified as Ravindra, Sohit, Sachin Kuntal, and Vipin Kasana.

  • Israel Claims To Have Found Hamas Tunnel Under Key Gaza Hospital

Israeli Defense Forces claim to have discovered a Hamas tunnel network under a Gaza hospital.

The tunnel was reportedly used as a command center for Hamas operations against Israeli forces.

IDF released footage showing an underground infrastructure with weapons and intelligence materials.

The Israeli Defence Forces have claimed to have found a Hamas tunnel network under a key hospital in Gaza’s Khan Yunis. According to the Israeli army, the tunnel, beneath the European Hospital compound, served as a command-and-control center for senior Hamas operatives and to coordinate attacks on Israeli forces.

The IDF released footage on Saturday on the social media platform X, showing a complex underground infrastructure with multiple rooms that housed weapons, intelligence materials, and operational equipment. This video was reportedly obtained during an operation by the IDF’s 36th Division, guided by the Intelligence Directorate and involving troops from the Golani Brigade, the Yahalom Unit, and special forces, reported the Jerusalem Post.

The Israeli Forces have previously posted several visuals of a reinforced tunnel under or in hospitals in Gaza – which they claimed was a part of a vast underground network Hamas uses for military purposes. In 2023, the IDF claimed to have found a Hamas tunnel under Gaza’s largest hospital, Al Shifa – which has now been almost fully destroyed in the war. The IDF had said Hamas used the hospital to hide weapons and command centres – a claim denied by medical staff and the Palestinian group.

The war between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, 2023, after Hamas’ attack in which around 1,200 Israelis were killed and many others were taken hostage. Israel responded to the Hamas attack with a military campaign that has killed over 54,000 Palestinians, according to Gaza health authorities.

Both Israel and Hamas have agreed to temporary ceasefires during which they exchanged hostages and prisoners. However, the attacks resumed soon after. According to Gaza officials, at least 4,402 people have been killed since Israel resumed its offensive on March 18 after a brief ceasefire announcement.

  • Air Force To Get Rs 10,000 Crore Indigenous I-STAR Spy Planes

Amid the ongoing Operation Sindoor against Pakistan, the Defence Ministry is going to take up Rs 10,000 crore proposal to buy three sophisticated spy planes to help Indian Air Force get a clear air-to-ground picture to carry out precision strikes against enemy ground targets like radar stations, air defence units and other mobile objects.

The Rs 10,000 crore project for the Intelligence, Surveillance, Target Acquisition and Reconnaissance (I-STAR) is expected to be taken up for clearance at a high-level defence ministry meeting scheduled to be held in the fourth week of June, defence officials told ANI.

The ISTAR provides air-to-ground surveillance to the forces to help them in carrying out precision strikes.

The spy aircraft project being developed by the Defence Research and Development includes the acquisition of three aircraft through an open tender from foreign manufacturers, including Boeing and Bombardier.

The onboard systems on the aircraft would be completely indigenous, as the DRDO’s Centre for Airborne Systems has already successfully developed them, they said.

The systems have already been proven and developed by the CABS and they will just have to be integrated with the three aircraft which would be acquired and modified for the purpose, they said.

The development of an ISTAR system would also add India to a select club of nations with such a capability, including the US, UK, Israel and a few others.

ISTAR thus provides dynamic and time-sensitive targeting capability and contributes significantly to meeting the nation’s security goals.

It will aid in limiting the scale and complexity of undetected hostile threats. It has multi-spectral surveillance capability to detect, locate and monitor irregular forces.

The I-STAR system shall be for carrying out intelligence gathering, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting by day and night from stand-off ranges.

The ISTAR systems are operated at high altitudes from large stand-off ranges and will be used for intelligence processing, exploitation, dissemination and generation of the common operating picture.

The ISTAR aircraft will be a system comprising airborne and ground segments.
